Entrusted Houston meets the needs of the foster and adopt community to promote restoration for kids, families, and front line workers in Jesus’ name.
Entrusted Houston was born out of a church ministry to help provide support for foster/adoptive families in the Houston area. Over the years it has grown beyond the church activities and is now a 501(c)(3) organization providing support to foster/adoptive families, Child Protective Services (CPS) and biological families across Houston in a variety of capacities. Entrusted Houston intends to continue their current programs and also develop new ones as the needs arise until every child has a permanent home. Entrusted Houston exists to unite, empower and mobilize churches and individuals across greater Houston to support CPS, foster children, biological families, and foster/adoptive families. We will do this by:
Resourcing
We support caregivers by providing essential items for their children, including clothing, shoes, furniture, and car seats. Our goal is to alleviate the barrier of not having these tangible necessities, ensuring that children have everything they need to thrive.
Welcoming
We extend a warm welcome to guests who have been assigned as Children Without Placement in our Bunkhouse, designed to offer a calm and safe environment.
Recognizing
We express our gratitude to caseworkers through regularevents crafted to cultivate both fun and faith exclusively for them. These events serve as opportunities for relaxation, rejuvenation, and building a supportive community.
